Louella Fritton, age 93, of O'Neill, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the Golden LivingCenter in O'Neill.

Visitation was held from 3-9 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2012, with a Catholic Daughters rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a parish rosary at 8 p.m. at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Funeral services were held Monday
June  4, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill with Father Francis  Nigli officiating. Music was provided by pianist, Jean McIntosh and singers, Marvin Ziska and St. Patrick's Choir.

Pallbearers were Brandon Fritton, Brodie Fritton, Scott Heater, Todd Heater, Casey Fritton and Kelly Fritton.

Burial was in the O'Neill Cemetery.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill was in charge of arrangements. 

Louella was born on July 31, 1918, in O'Neill to Charles and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Richter. She graduated from O'Neill High School. 

On May 16, 1942, she married Frank Fritton at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill. She was a nurse's aid at St. Anthony's Hospital for over 35 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America, altar society and Friends of St. Mary's.

She is survived by four daughters: Elizabeth Gross and husband,  Allen of
Grant, CO; Anna Buckley and husband, LaVern of Lanaster, TN;  Arlene Bell and husband, Leon of Sidney and Mary Heater and husband, Mike of Kearney; three sons: Bernard Fritton of Gering; Ted Fritton and wife, Diane of La Vista and Tom Fritton of O'Neill; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Louella was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank in 1964; one sister, Mary Tomlinson; one brother, Charles Richter and one son-in-law, Dick Gross.
