Lois Murray, age 77, of O'Neill, passed away late Friday evening, April 19, 2013, at her home in O'Neill.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with Rev. Steve Randolph officiating. Music was provided by guitarist, Steve Randolph and soloist, Michele Randolph. Visitation was held one hour before the service.

Honorary pallbearers were Steve Pittack, Bob Hovey, Mike Wheeler, Jon Grider and Rich Grider.

Inurnment was in the O'Neill Prospect Cemetery in O'Neill.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill was in charge of arrangements.

Lois was born on Aug. 17, 1935, at Chambers to Frank and Ferne (Manker) Murray. She graduated from O'Neill Public High School. She attended the Norfolk School of Business and graduated from San Diego State University. Lois was a social worker at the O'Neill Health and Human Services office.

Lois is survived by three sisters: Marjorie Hovey of O'Neill, Etta Grider of Aurora, CO, and Faye Wheeler of O'Neill; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Murray of Columbus; one brother-in-law, Cliff Pittack of  Tilden and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betty Pittack; one brother, Francis Murray and three brothers-in-law, Richard Hovey, Richard Grider and Jerry Wheeler.
