Lady Broncos Go 2-1 During The Week

The Stuart Lady Broncs had another busy week last week as they played three games. They beat CWC and Osmond and fell to EPPJ on Friday night. 

In the CWC game, the Lady Broncos had a double-digit lead going into the fourth quarter. The Lady Broncos held on to the fourth quarter lead and won the game, 47-42. Reagan Stracke led all scorers with 18 points. Addison Steinhauser led the team in rebounds with 8. She also had 10 points. Annie Ludwig had 11 points and 5 rebounds. Addie Ketteler led the team in assist with 6 and Kyra Tubbs chipped in with 6 points for the contest.

During the Osmond game, the Broncos held onto a double-digit lead going into the final quarter. The Lady Tigers put together a run but again the Lady Broncos held onto the lead and won, 40-35. Stracke led the team with 20 points. Half of her points came from the free throw line as she was 10/14 from the stripe. Stracke also led the team in rebounds with 8. Steinhauser had 9 points and 5 rebounds. Kyra Tubbs hit 3 threes to have 9 points for the contest. The Lady Broncos were 13/18 from the line and that was a big reason for holding onto the lead. 

In the final contest for the week, the Lady Broncos battled a C2 rated EPPJ team. The Lady Broncos battled but came up short, 51-37. Elly Steinhauser and Kyra Tubbs were the leadings scorers with 11 each. Steinhauser also led the team in rebounds with 9. Paityn Sheffield led the team in assists with 3. Cecelia Addison grabbed 3 rebounds and gave out 2 assists and Alyssa Karo had 2 rebounds. 

The Lady Broncos don't have such a busy week this week as they only play one game. That game is at home against Valentine on Thursday.
