Keith Kube, 40th Legislative District Candidate

Keith Kube Announces his bid for the 40th Legislative District.

Keith Kube, born and raised in Crofton, announced his candidacy for the 40th Legislative District. Kube, a graduate from Crofton High School, is the oldest son of the late Norman and Marie Kube. Keith has one grown son Stephen.

Kube™s family roots trace back to West Point where his great-great-grandfather Robert Kube settled after immigrating from Germany in 1882. Keith currently lives on the family farm outside of Crofton.

In announcing his candidacy Kube said, “As a strong conservative I look forward to serving the hard working families of this district.”

After high school Kube attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where he earned a B.S. degree in civil engineering. Kube has worked as an engineer, financial advisor and management consultant. He has served on the boards of Rotary International, National Association of Realtors, Salvation Army, The Knights of Columbus and Yankton Area Concert Association. He serves his community as a member of the Crofton Community Club and St. Rose Catholic Church in Crofton.

In addition to serving his community Kube has been active in the Republican Party, serving as the Knox County Chairman and on the State GOP Central Committee. He has also been working with four sitting State Senators on tax reforms.

Said Kube, “High taxes prevent many of our young people from remaining in Nebraska, and we must overhaul the current system”

Kube believes his strong pro-life views reflect the views of the 40th District. He also believes strongly in the parent™s rights to be involved in their children™s education, whether it is home school, private school, private religious school or in the many fine public schools in our District.
