The O'Neill Junior High Lady Eagles competed in the first meet of the year at East City Park in Ainsworth. The team finished in fourth place with 74.5 points. West Holt won the meet with 209 points. The lone gold medal winner was Autumn Jackson winning the shot put with a toss of 25'6”. She also took second place in the discus with a throw of 61' followed by Ariel Jackson (4th-19'9”). Addysen Hilger threw 65-5 in the 8th grade discus to place 6th. In the jumping events, Serena Chavez led the eagles with a second place finish in the triple jump (29' 3 ½”) and fourth in the eighth grade long jump (11'10”). Other medals in the long jump went to Aubrey Blackburn (6th-11'9 ¼”), and in the 7th grade long jump Mia Boettcher (5th-12'5”). In their first try at the pole vault, Grace Drueke and Hailey Fick cleared 5'0” to place fifth and sixth. Mollie Corkle earned a silver medal in the 400 (1:09.5), and was a member of the 4×800 team that took 4th place along with Taya Dickau, Suhani Chaudhari, and Hailey Romesser. Taya Dickau later ran the 1600 with a time of 6:24.9 to place sixth. Hailey Fick, Hannah Hilker, Grace Drueke, and Nevaeh Allison placed second in the 4×100 relay with a time of 59.3. Hurdler Madison Shoemaker finished fourth in the 200 hurdles (36.2).
