Jerry Morgan Crosser, 71, of O'Neill, died Friday, Agu. 12, 2022 at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022 at the First Christian Church in O'Neill. 

Memorial services were held Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022 at the church in O'Neill. Pastor Phil Olsen officiated.

Burial will be held at a later date at the Inman Cemetery in Inman.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of the arrangements.

Jerry was born on Nov. 1, 1950 in Inman to Manuel and Lillian (Brittell) Crosser. Growing up, Jerry moved around with his family attending various schools before graduating from O'Neill High School. He attended Nebraska Christian College in Norfolk before receiving his business degree from the Spencer School of Business in Grand Island.

Jerry married Peggy Monroe on July 18, 1975 at the Morningside Church of Christ in Sioux City, Iowa. To this union twin daughters Gail and Heather were born.

Jerry worked as a salesman/manager/customer service rep for companies such as JC Penney, Radio Shack and Cellular One to name a few which took his family to many towns in Nebraska and Minnesota. While working for Cellular One, he won the Peak Achievement Award and was honored to receive a trip out to California and Maui. 

In 2016, they made their home in O'Neill. 

Jerry was an avid Husker fan and was anxiously awaiting the Husker football season to start.

Being a Christian was a big part of Jerry's life. He was very active in the New Life Christian Church in Albert Lea, MN, where he served as a Deacon and started a young adult bible school class. Jerry was a member of the First Christian Church in O'Neill.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 47 years Peggy of O'Neill, twin daughters Gail Crosser (special friend Anthony Allen) of Lincoln and Heather Martin of O'Neill, one grandson Jayden Martin of O'Neill, one brother Gary (Mary Ellen) Crosser of Norfolk, one brother-in-law Dale (Jean) Monroe of Marion, Iowa, one sister-in-law Garnett (Doug) Weaver of Omaha and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Lillian (Brittell) Crosser, one son-in-law Richard Martin one brother Roland Dean Crosser and one sister Verna Glee Crosser.
