Holt County Board of Supervisors Proceedings – December 31, 2025 Board meetings are held on the first working day after the 15th and the last working day of the month. Meetings are held at the Holt County Courthouse meeting room. Board of Equalization at 9:30 A.M. and Board of Supervisors at 9:45 A.M. Notice of meeting given in advance thereof by publication in paper as shown by Affidavit of Publication on December 24, 2025, in the Summerland Advocate. The agenda for all meetings are kept continuously current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk's office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until 24 hours prior to the meeting. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such meeting. The Holt County Board of Supervisors meeting convened at 9:45 A.M. Present: Treptow, Linquist, Neiman, Breiner, Paxton, Frahm and Tielke. Approved the minutes of December 16, 2025, meeting. Reviewed claims, correspondence, Courthouse Committee & Security Information Committee gave report. Time was allowed for public comment. No one appeared for comment. Planning & Zoning Administrator Marv Fritz presented the Zoning Easement Document on the setback waiver and reported on the tire collection grant for RC&D and the reverse osmosis system grants for UENRD. County Attorney Brent Kelly was present to discuss the DHHS child support collection for Holt County. Quotes for carpet for Boyd/Holt E911 Dispatch Office in the Courthouse, the conference room in the DHHS and the main meeting room in the Annex. Approved the quote from Country Bliss Flooring, LLC for a total of $10,357.00. Quotes were received for the purchase of a trailer mounted asphalt heater box. Quotes were: Reiman Construction $4,500.00 - Used 4 ton propane heated asphalt heater box Rose Construction, LLC $36,485.00 – New 4 ton diesel heated asphalt heater box. Approved the purchase of used trailer mounted asphalt heater box from Reiman Construction for $4,500.00. Road Department Activity Report was presented.
