Great Plains State Bank will celebrate their new location in downtown O'Neill, 620 East Douglas Street, with a Grand Opening on Friday, March 14 from 12-2 p.m. A Ribbon Cutting with the O'Neill Chamber of Commerce will commence at 1 p.m. The new branch, built by Single Source, hosts a spacious bank lobby, conference room, two drive-up lanes, and a 24-hour drive-up ATM. Great Plains State Bank opened their new branch on Monday, Feb. 24 in the heart of downtown O'Neill making this location more “convenient and accessible.” According to CEO, Rick Chochon, “This move better reflects GPSbank's mission of providing great personal service in O'Neill.” Since its arrival almost nine years ago, the branch has made a significant impact on the footprint of “community banking” with its trademark “great personal service” and “local decision-making.” O'Neill is one of five branch locations offering an extended range of banking services and products. O'Neill Market President, Jacey Napier, who has been with GPSbank for over three years, says “GPSbank is excited about our new larger facility which mirrors our dedication to growth while continuing to provide enhanced banking services to our valued customers.” With the move downtown, Napier goes on to say, “being centered in the heart of O'Neill's thriving downtown only reinforces our commitment to the community and surrounding areas.” With the addition of safe deposit boxes, “our new space allows us to continue to build new relationships.” The Grand Opening celebration will give the public an opportunity to meet staff and tour the bank facility. Coffee and cookies will be served.
