Great Plains State Bank is pleased to announce that on Monday, Feb. 24, its O'Neill Branch will relocate to their new building at 620 E. Douglas Street. The new branch, built by Single Source, will host a spacious bank lobby, conference room, and two drive-up lanes as well as a 24-hour drive-up ATM. CEO Rick Chochon says, “We are excited about our new building that will cement our location in the heart of downtown O'Neill, reflecting GPSbank's commitment to providing great personal service with local decision making.” Since its arrival in O'Neill almost nine years ago, Great Plains State Bank has made a significant impact on the footprint of ‘community banking.' O'Neill is one of five branch locations offering an extended range of banking services and products. O'Neill Market President, Jacey Napier says, “We have had the privilege of growing alongside local families and businesses since our humble start in O'Neill. Our new space will allow us to continue to build relationships while joining the thriving downtown.” Napier went on to say, “This move reinforces our commitment to the community and surrounding areas.” A Grand Opening celebration for the public will be Friday, March 14 from 12 p.m. -2 p.m. as a kick-off to the annual St. Patrick's Day festivities. A Ribbon Cutting with the O'Neill Chamber will take place at 1 p.m. Cookies and coffee will be served.
