General O'Neill Sculpture Dedication To Be June 4

The General John O'Neill Sculpture Dedication will be on Saturday, June 4th outside of the Holt County Courthouse. The dedication will feature Herb Mignery and will feature a day of events.

Starting at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. will be the postal cachet at the Kinkaid Museum. Then at 11 a.m. will be the Mulligan Stew Feed plus meet and greet at the Handlebend Building.

The procession to the site led by Omaha's AOH Honor Guard will be at 12:45 p.m. with the unveiling and dedication on the courthouse lawn at 1 p.m.

Following the unveiling will be Irish Music by Danny Leger with the Easter Rising Band from Omaha at the Handlebend Building until 4 p.m.

Renowned Western Artist, Herb Mignery, a native of Bartlett, now based in Loveland, CO, accepted this commission and created the life-sized bronze sculpture.
