Atkinson — Fr. LuVern "Luke" William Steffes, 82, of Atkinson, died Friday, June 5, 2026 at his home in Atkinson. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Atkinson with a 7 p.m. parish rosary. Visitation will continue from 9-10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the church in Atkinson. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the church in Atkinson. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Atkinson. The family requests no flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic School in Atkinson in Fr. Steffes name. Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson is in charge of the arrangements.
