As well as being a loving housewife, Fonda worked as a secretary at Holliday Implement for many years. When she moved to Norfolk she worked at Dale Electronics. Fonda attended Norfolk Community College and became a home health care specialist lovingly helping others until she retired.
She and Wayne were divorced for a period of time but remarried in the eyes of the Lord and in our hearts in O'Neill on Nov. 25, 2012.
She loved camping at the river, water skiing, boating, motorcycling, puzzles, reading, caring for others and spending time with family and friends.
Fonda was much loved by the community and everyone she met. She will be especially remembered as an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to so many people. She gracefully and positively fought a valiant battle against lung cancer for nearly a year. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
