An early morning fire has left three Page people homeless. The fire was called into the Boyd-Holt 911 Dispatch Center at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning with the Page and the O'Neill Fire Department responding. The callers to the dispatch center reported two people were out of the house with possibly one person still inside. The Page Department cleared the residence to make sure the structure was empty before it became too difficult to do so. The O'Neill Department arrived on scene around 6 a.m. and setup support, bringing man power and equipment to the scene. The O'Neill Department confirmed that the structure had been evacuated and brought the fire under control. Around 7:30 a.m. the missing man was located at another residence in Page. The fire possibly started in the back of the residence with a common wall to an added on garage. The structure is a total loss and is being investigated by the Nebraska State Fire Marshal's Office and the Page Fire Department. The house is owned by Bob and Shari Ickes of Page.
