Eula Mae Strong Eula Mae (Eppenbach) Strong, age 82, passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at Countryside Home in Madison. She was born Oct. 11, 1928, at Sunol, to Frank Omar and Eula Mae (Leise) Eppenbach. At the age of five they moved to Ewing. She graduated from Ewing High School in 1947. On April 17, 1948, she married Francis Strong. They lived in O'Neill until 1966 when they moved to Madison. She worked at Sherwood Medical for 25 years, retiring in 1993. Eula Mae is survived by her husband; children and spouses, Daniel and Jean Strong of Columbus, Donna and Steve Jiffers of Tampa, FL, Karen and Robert Gronenthal of Humphrey, and Pam Rawlings of Madison; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-granchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; 3 nieces and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Calvin, Robert and Harold Eppenbach; one sister, Julia (Eppenbach) Snyder; one daughter, Lori Lee (Strong) Polt; one granddaughter, Cammie Strong; and one great-granddaughter, Cassie Howell.
