Eula Minnie Larson Anderson, age 84, of Springfield, MO, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Nixa First Assembly of God Church in Nixa, MO. Pastor Don Blansit officiated, assisted by Rev. Verlin Anderson and Rev. Kent
Anderson. Music was provided by her children and grandchildren. 

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were her children and grandchildren.

Interment was held on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO.

Eula Minnie Larson was born on Nov. 20, 1927, to Casper and Minnie (Lindquist) Larson in Chambers. She was the youngest of 10 children and the last surviving sibling. Her parents were Swedish immigrants who came to this country as children.

She attended the Cache Creek rural school and Ewing High School. She taught in rural schools in Holt County for seven years. 

While she was teaching she met and married Cressel Anderson. They lived in the Chambers, Ewing and Bloomfield areas. Later she attended Wayne State College and Yankton College. She graduated from Yankton College in 1970. She then taught kindergarten and elementary music in Wausa for 24 years.

The family enjoyed music and formed a music group. They sang at area churches and had a radio program on KMNS Radio Station out of Sioux City, Iowa, and KBRX in O'Neill. She was a church pianist for 35 years.

Survivors include her husband, Cressel; her children and their spouses: Verlin and Doreen of Concord, NC; Sidney and Donna of Pierre, SD; Rodney of Phoenix, AZ; Jolene of San Clemente, CA; and Kelly and Carla of Ozark. MO; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
