Sioux City, Iowa — Eula Ora Lee Finley, 97, of Sioux City, Iowa, formerly of Page, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 at Westwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 - 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at the United Methodist Church in Page.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at the church in Page. Rev. Brian Loy will officiate.

Burial will be in the Page Cemetery in Page.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of the arrangements.

Eula was born on Aug. 25, 1924 in Clearwater to Earl and Dorothy Juanita (Wyman) Closson. She graduated from O™Neill High School in 1942. Upon graduation, she taught country school outside of Page. 

Eula married James “Jim” Finley on April 1, 1944 in Page. To this union a daughter was born, Sheila. Together they farmed in the Page area until 1954, when the family moved to California. They also farmed near Bronson, Iowa for 15 years before returning to Page in 1971.  

The couple owned and operated Finley Service for a time. Eula also worked for Gibson™s in O™Neill in the 1970-80s, the Farmer™s Store in Page and Buxton Electric/D.E.C. in Page until she retired in 2007. Eula then moved to Sioux City, Iowa to live with her daughter.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Page and the Page American Legion Post 315 Auxiliary. 

Eula is survived by her daughter Sheila Kjose of North Sioux City, SD, two grandsons Michael Kjose of Waterloo, Iowa and Bryan Kjose of North Sioux City, SD, one brother Clifford (Jan) Closson of Loveland, CO, a sister-in-law Rachel Closson of California and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim Finley in 1994 and a brother Raymond Closson.
