Ernest W. Weiss, Jr., age 96, of Papillion, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14, 2013, from 1-8 p.m. at the Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 15, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., at the First Lutheran Church in Papillion. Interment was in the Papillion Cemetery.

Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion was in charge of arrangements.

Ernest is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and James Melcher of Papillion (formerly of Page) and one son and daughter-in-law, Harold "Butch" and Terry Weiss of Papillion; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stuart and Ruth Karr of Omaha; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marian, two brothers and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church or Papillion Cemetery, both in Papillion.
