The Aerie hosted the Mid-State Conference Wrestling Tournament last Thursday, Feb. 3 with nine teams competing. The Eagles battled hard but had to settle for second place.

The Eagles had four first place winners, four fourth place winners and one second place.

On Saturday the O'Neill Eagles traveled to Kearney to take part in the Nebraska State Duels. The Eagles took fourth overall.

In round one the Eagles downed Filmore Central 41-29; in round two the Eagles lost to Battle Creek 38-34 and then placed fourth overall.
