The O'Neill Lady Eagles went 2-1 on last week's play, winning on Tuesday over West Holt and Valentine. In action against the Huskies, they won in two sets, 25-23 and 25-21. On Thursday, Sept. 8, the Eagles fell to Crofton in a tough match going 3-1 against the Warriors. Wreece Liewer led the Eagles with eight kills, 12 digs and three set assists; Ashley Sidak eight kills, two digs and one set assist; Olivia Young five kills, 10 digs and one set assist; Autumn Hilker two kills, two blocks, one ace serve and six digs; Keeley Chavez three ace serves, seven digs and 15 set assists. The next match for the girls was against Valentine, and the Eagles won over the Badgers 2-0, winning 25-16 and 25-16. Liewer led the Eagles with 11 kills, one block and nine digs; Hilker six kills, one ace serve and six digs; Young four kills, one ace serve, one block and five digs; Sidak four kills and 10 digs; Schluns two kills and nine digs; and Keeley Chavez one kill, six digs and 21 assists. On Thursday, Sept. 8, the Lady Eagles traveled to Crofton and made the Warriors earn their win going four sets. 25-11, 25-20, 22-25 and 28-26. Sidak led the Eagles with nine kills and 14 digs; Hilker eight kills, one block and 13 digs; Liewer eight kills, one ace serve and 20 digs; Young six kills, one ace serve and eight digs; Schluns one kill, one block and 15 digs; Chavez one ace serve, 19 digs and 23 set assists.
