Bruce Pickering

Colorado — Bruce Wayne Pickering, 85, of Colorado died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022 at Horan & McConaty Centennial in Centennial, CO.

Military honors were hosted Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. A reception followed in Lakewood, CO.

Bruce was born in Westerly, RI on April 23, 1936.

As a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force, Bruce retired as a master sergeant and received many honors during his time, such as the Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award. 

Bruce continued in service to his country working for the U.S. Postal Service until retirement.

Bruce leaves behind wife of 64 years Patricia; as well as his four children Michael Pickering, Richard Pickering, D'Ann Keough and Amy Nichols; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
