The Stuart Boys Basketball team is off to a good 4-1 start with their only loss to Central Valley on Friday, Dec. 5, losing to them 55-51. In more recent action, the Broncos have defeated Bloomfield 60-51, Twin Loup 69-62, and Cody Kilgore 61-33. In the Bloomfield game, Drew Schmaderer led with 29 points, Kayde Ramm had 14 points, and Seth Connot had six points. Ramm had six steals, Nigel Addison had five steals, and Tommy Paxton had three steals. Against Twin Loup, Schmaderer had 25 points, Ramm had 20 points, and Tommy Paxton had 10 points. Schmaderer led in rebounds with 11. Boelter had eight rebounds, and Ramm had seven. In the action against Cody-Kilgore, Schmaderer had 15 points, Ramm had 13, and Lane Boelter had 12; rebounding was Boelter with six and Schmaderer, Connot, and Paxton with three each. The Stuart JV has defeated Bloomfield 28-26 and Cody Kilgore 69-27.
