The Stuart Bronco boys have been killing it recently this season. Before moving into the holiday break, they had one last hurdle to overcome in the form of Burke. From the onset, this was looking like a clean sweep from the Cougar hosts, who pulled ahead 25-18 in the early minutes of the match. A further three-point buff in the second landed the Broncos down 10 points going into halftime. Determined to leave the year on a positive note, the Broncos started to adapt and fought back. It started with a big six-point takedown in the third quarter to thin the gap between the two teams. The Cougars tried to stand their ground, but the Broncos had leveled up and finished the job in a nail-biting finale. When the smoke cleared, the Broncos had forced their way to the top by two points for the end-of-year match. Kayde Ramm was a huge deciding factor with 29 points and 12 rebounds; Kaige Krieger had 14 points; Drew Schmaderer had 13 points, four rebounds and six steals; Nigel Addison had six points and six steals; Seth Connot had four points; and Lane Boelter had 11 rebounds.
