Beth Ann Martinsen, 65, of O'Neill, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025 at the Christ Lutheran Church in O'Neill. Pastor John Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in the O'Neill Cemetery in O'Neill. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation. Beth was born Jan. 6th, 1960 in Plainview, to Eugene and Sharon (McDonald) Goldfuss. She grew up on a farm north of Page until her family moved to Page where she attended the Page Elementary school. Beth attended O'Neill High School where she graduated valedictorian. She ran combine during the harvest season for her parents all through her high school years and helped out when she needed in her adult life. She went to college at the National School of Business in Rapid City, SD where she graduated in the top 10 of her class. She enjoyed going to many concerts while in college (Kiss being her favorite) and got to travel to Italy and France. On Sept. 6th, 1995 she married Chuck Martinsen. From this union a son Adam was born on Nov. 5th, 1996. Upon graduating from college, Beth moved back home where she worked in the business office at St. Anthony's Hospital. She retired from Niobrara Valley Electric in 2020, after working 31 years with them. She was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church in O'Neill. Beth enjoyed planting flowers, Nebraska volleyball and football, taking care of her yard, camping at Calamus and riding around in the golf cart with Chuck around the campsite. She loved her dogs Sammy, Babie and Tessa. Beth is survived by her husband Chuck Martinsen of O'Neill; one son Adam Martinsen of Omaha; two stepchildren Neal (Lindsay) Martinsen of Hickman and Bradley (Courtney) Martinsen of St. Paul; four grandchildren Aubree, Brantley, Eizley and Kinzey; two sisters Debra (Mike) Feauto of Norfolk and Connie (Rob) Herbers of Omaha; three brothers- in- law Chris (Kris) Martinsen of Cassoday, KS, Cary (Holly) Martinsen of Glendale, AZ and Chad (Jamie) Martinsen of Elgin; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by parents Eugene and Sharon Goldfuss, father-in-law and mother–in -law Nelce and Marilyn Martinsen, one step-daughter Lynnze Martinsen, one brother-in-law Delmar Blum and one nephew Brandon Blum.
