Avealona "Avea" B. R. Roeder

Newport — Avealona "Avea" Berta Rose Roeder, 11, of Newport, died peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 at Children's Hospital in Omaha surrounded by her family.

Visitation  was held Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025 at the Rock County High School Gym in Bassett.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 6, 2025 at the school gym in Bassett.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Atkinson.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
