In the journey through life, there will always be people who come and go in everyone's lifetime. How long these people are able to stay and the impact they leave on our hearts is unknown. For this reason, back in 2020, we wanted to come together as a group of educators to create a space that both embraces those we have lost and the children who we still get to hear their laughter of today. A space that allows for the time spent and memories made with Michael Mueller and Autumn Matthews to be shared and remembered. Over the past few years, the local female teacher organization known as ADK, has been able to turn this idea into reality for the families and children of our community. Through various fundraisers and generous people in our small town, ADK was able to raise the $20,0000 necessary to complete this project. With the help of Chaz Kellum and other volunteers from our community this idea became a reality. We would like to invite everyone to stop by the Kiddie Park north of the O'Neill Public High School to see this wonderful space that has been created. Because of the kindness of many, the idea that all children can play together and feel included leaves us feeling hopeful that those angels in the heavens are smiling down on us.
