2026 Baby New Year

2026 BABY NEW YEAR - Avera St. Anthony's Hospital is excited to announce that the first baby of 2026 was born on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026. The baby arrived at 1:04 p.m. The New Year's baby, a boy, was named Briggs Lee Seger, and he is the son of Aaron and Taylor Seger of Atkinson. Briggs weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz, and is 21 1/2″ long. Briggs will join his brother Hadley at home.
