Atkinson — Rodney "Rod" Ray McCumber, 71, of Atkinson, died Saturday, March 28, 2026 at his home in rural Atkinson.

Memorial visitation was held Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson.

Burial will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Atkinson Fire and Rescue Department in Atkinson in Rod's name or to the family for future designation.
