Abigail M. Cross

Norfolk — Abigail Michelle Cross, 18, of Norfolk, died Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in Omaha due to a house fire.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at the O'Neill Cemetery in O'Neill. Pastor Joan Alexander officiated.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Plainview was in charge of the arrangements.

Abigail was born On April 5, 2007 to Laura (Cross) Ice in Lincoln. She attended school and graduated. 

She moved to Norfolk where she worked at 7 Brew Coffee, Library and Subway. 

She enjoyed spending time with Jonathan and adopting all animals and volunteering at the animal shelter, traveling, listening to music especially Classic 70's, dyeing her hair and attending Husker games.

Abigail is survived by her mother Laura Cross of Plainview, significant other Jonathan Dover of Norfolk, two brothers Kevin Ice and Matthew Ice of Plainview, one uncle Dustin (Makala) Cross of O'Neill, two great-uncles Keith Cross and Lee Cross, both of Page, two cousins Jacey and Ryker Cross of O'Neill and Jonathan's parents Tom and Marilyn Dover of Norfolk.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents William and Dora Cross and grandfather Kevin Cross.
