The Stuart Broncos will play for the Nebraska Six Man Title this Friday, Nov. 22. The Broncos will travel to Cope Stadium in Kearney for a rematch with the Mustangs from SEM. SEM is the lone loss for the Broncos way back in Sept. 36-33. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The Stuart Bronco football team traveled three hours west last Friday afternoon to compete in the State Semi-finals. The Broncos took on the Hawks from Hay Springs. The Broncos defeated them 52-20. Taking advantage of the wind conditions, the Broncos forced a three and out for the Hawks. The Bronco offense took advantage of the short punt and scored a touchdown on the first drive. The Broncos had a 22-6 lead in the first quarter. The Hawks scored a touchdown in the second quarter to make it a 22-12 game at halftime. The Broncos came out firing on all cylinders in the third quarter, outscoring the Hawks 30-0 and cruising to a 52-20 victory. The offense was led by Kayde Ramm who was 6/11 for 108 yards and four touchdowns. Ramm also ran for 55 yards and a touchdown. Owen Littau led the rushing attack with 107 yards on 17 carries. Drew Schmaderer had 27 yards on 8 carries. Schmaderer also had two catches for 11 yards and one touchdown. Hunter Tubbs had a rushing touchdown from 12 yards out. Tubbs also had one catch for 14 yards. Ben Paxton led the receiving core with three catches for 83 yards and three touchdowns. The defense was dominant for the Broncos. Allowing only 180 total yards for the contest. The Broncos were led by Littau with 10 tackles. Ben Paxton had nine tackles and took a 41 yard fumble recovery to the house late in the game to seal it. Hunter Tubbs had seven tackles and Kayde Ramm had two sacks for the game.
