As part of this year's Summerfest event lineup, Parmalee and B.J. Jamison will take center stage July 20. B.J will open for Parmalee at 8:30 p.m. B.J. Jamison was raised by a family deep with rodeo traditions, but B.J. opted for a more musical journey. He first discovered his love for the guitar at just age 13. B.J. ventured down a self-taught musical path, leading him shortly after to join a country band as lead guitarist. He soon discovered his talent for singing, leading B.J. down an entirely new path. Over the past few years. B.J. has been performing live, playing around 150 shows each year. He has captivated audiences during his live solo acoustic performances, and will continue to do so July 20 when he comes to O'Neill. Parmalee, comprised of two brothers, their cousin and life-long friend, have dedicated over the past 20 years to get to where they are now. The members started their band in 2001 and it took them 10 long years of performing before striking a deal with record label Stoney Creek Records. It took just one performance from the band for the record label to sign a deal with them. Since then, Parmalee has released multiple #1 hits, earning them over one billion on-demand streams of their music. Currently, their most streamed song "Just The Way" has over 185,800,000 listens on Spotify alone! The show takes place at the O'Neill Community Center, located at 501 South 4th Street. General Admission tickets are only $25, just visit www.eventbrite.com/e/parmalee-at-oneill-nebraska-summerfest-tickets-851016361847 to get yours now. B.J. Jamison takes the stage at 8:30 p.m. with Parmalee taking over at 10:00 p.m. Taking place the same day as the second showing of the Airshow, this Summerfest promises to be one to remember for a long time to come.
