OHS Eagle Wrestlers Off To State This Thursday

The O'Neill Wrestling Community will be well represented this week at the Nebraska State Wrestling Tourney this week in Omaha at the CHI Center. 

The tourney will start on Thursday and run into Saturday with both boys and girls competing at the event.

Qualifying for the Eagle boys this year are Dylan Parks at 106 lbs., John Alden at 138 lbs., Oliver Schluns at 144 lbs., Pryor Mathews at 150 lbs., Grady Welke at 165 lbs., Matias Jiminez at 190 lbs.,  and Tucker Shabram  at 215 lbs.

In the girls division Grace Drueke at 125 lbs., and Paola Vergara at 170 lbs..

For St. Mary's Jace Rosenkrans qualified at 175 lbs.

Wrestling will begin on Thursday with Session 1: Thursday, Feb.15 at 9:30 a.m.

Session 2: Thursday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m.

Session 3: Friday, Feb. 16 at 9 a.m.

Session 4: Friday, Feb. 16  at 12 p.m.

Session 5: Friday, Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Session 6: Saturday, Feb. 17 at 9 a.m.

TICKET REMINDER

Please be aware that NSAA State Wrestling Championship tickets are priced between $7-$10 (depending on seat location), and the only official ticket sellers for this event are Ticketmaster and the CHI Health Center Omaha Box Office.

They are aware of reports that tickets are re-selling from unauthorized, even copycat entities at a substantial markup. Those websites are not affiliated with the NSAA or CHI Health Center Omaha.
