The Eagle boys have been on a roll recently, and last Thursday's match-up against Ainsworth was no exception. The Eagles downed them 72-46 by the end. Quarter one was a stalemate- with neither team getting that early game advantage. In the second, the Bulldogs pushed for the win and managed to overpower the Eagles 15-12. Right after securing the top spot, the Bulldogs fell flat when the Eagles put up 23 points in the third, while the Bulldogs only managed eight. The final quarter cemented the Eagle's dominance over this opponent when they scored 27, while leaving the Bulldogs with just 13 to end the game 72-46. Turner Heiss carried the team with 29 points to his name, shooting one of three three-pointers for 33 percent and 12 of 16 two-pointers for 75 percent. Heiss also had five rebounds and three steals; Drew Morrow put up 19 points, three rebounds and three steals; Ryder Pokorny had nine points, two rebounds and two steals; Colton Osborne five points, six rebounds and one steal; Tevor Alder five points; Brady Eichelberger two points, six rebounds and one steal; Porter Mathews two points, four rebounds and one steal; Grant Dusatko one point; and Evan Kopecky one rebound.
