One of O'Neill's finest will be retiring next week after 25 years of service to the City of O'Neill and Boyd County. Officer Kip Krysl will be hanging up his badge and the City of O'Neill will hold a retirement celebration for Kip on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at the O'Neill City Council Chambers from 2 -4 p.m. Kip started his work for the city in 1998 with the then Police Chief Ben Matchett and has served continuously to finish his career under current chief Matt Otte.
