The Stuart lady Broncos traveled to Lincoln to play in the State Tournament for the third straight year in a row. The Lady's went in with the 6th seed and played 3rd seed Meridian. It was a good match-up with both teams being similar in their style of play. The Broncos took an early lead in the first set with great passing and attacking the Meridian defense. The girls got comfortable with a big lead and lost their focus but were able to hold on to win the set. The girls never did get back to passing and playing aggressive on the offensive side after that. Unforced errors also played a big part of not playing the Broncos game. The girls battled and the coaches were proud on how they didn't give up without a fight, but they just couldn't put up the consistency together to win another set. The girls and coaches would like to thank all their fan support this year that cheered, traveled and followed the girls whole season. We would also like to thank all the parents who fed this team well and had food for the team at all the away games. The three seniors (Brynn Almgren, Savannah Kramer and Lacey Paxton) helped finish the season with a 27-5 record, they will be missed. Stuart vs. Meridian SHS 25 20 17 21 1 MHS 23 25 25 25 3
