Holt County TeamMates Renewing Mentoring Program

The new school year has started and that means TeamMates is renewing their mentoring program in Holt County schools and is beginning their annual sponsorship drive.  

TeamMates mentoring program began in 1991 with the vision of University of Nebraska head football coach Tom Osborne and his wife Nancy. The program has changed quite a bit since then. We now serve thousands of boys and girls across the Midwest and our mentors come from all walks of life. One thing, however, remains the same–our mentors just have to be there. It's that simple.

We are grateful for over 60 mentors in Holt County, but there are several more students who are waiting for a mentor. You can make a difference if you can meet a boy or girl at their school for less than an hour each week.  Contact Amy Shane for more information.
