Janice was born on Feb. 10, 1952 and was beloved by her parents Edward James and Dorothy Leona (Clark) Donohoe. She attended St. Mary's Academy and graduated in 1970.

After graduation, Janie married her high school sweetheart and love of her life Pat Robertson. To this union were born three children Rochelle Marie, Keith Patrick and Jerri Jo. The family made their home in O'Neill.

While raising her children Janie took many roles that benefited the community including running a preschool, working at the hospital and for numerous years, managing the O'Neill swimming pool during the summertime.

Later in life Janie returned to school, receiving both bachelor and master's degrees in education. She then joined the faculty at O'Neill Public Schools as an elementary teacher, enjoying many fulfilling years enriching the minds of young first graders, until her retirement in 2017.

Janie was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend, prioritizing the people she cared about first in her life. She relished coffee, long coffee chats and mostly sharing stories and laughs with the people she loved. She enjoyed participating in her bible study groups, grabbing a drink with friends at the Handlebend and keeping up with her siblings, nieces and nephews over lengthy phone calls. Janie was an avid reader and movie watcher. She also treasured her quiet, early morning devotions and reflection time to herself. She adored her three children and her seven grandchildren, and travelled often to be with them. Janie's grandchildren will remember the countless games of cards and board games they played with her, especially Candy Land.

She will be remembered by her family and friends as a beloved, cherished confidant, a sincere caring person who was readily available to listen or support or help in any way she could.  Janie will be dearly missed.

Janice is survived by three children Shelly (Edward Frosch Jr.) Robertson of Seattle, WA and their children Henry and Elliott, Keith Robertson of West Palm Beach, FL and his children Charles, Hannah and Michaela and Jerri Jo (Hadi) Damavandy of Great Falls, VA and their children Juliette and Frank; one sister Connie (Gene) Donohoe Fuchs e of Houston, Texas; three brothers Steve (Elise) Donohoe and Andy (Linda) Donohoe, all of Mission Viejo, CA and Ed (Lori) Donohoe of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters-in-law Jamie Donohoe Gaughenbaugh of Upton, WY and Nancy Robertson Moss of O'Neill; 10 nephews; and nine nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Matt Donohoe, one brother-in-law Tom Moss and her husband of 51 years Pat.
