The St. Mary's Cardinals racked another win under their belt in their close 52-46 win. The Tigers got on the board first when the Tigers drove down deep in Cardinal territory. Trevin Larson ran in a 12-yard touchdown run. The Cards got on the board when Gage Hedstrom ran in a two-yard touchdown, and then Hedstrom threw the two-point conversion to Carson Dannenbring. The Tigers fired back on a seven-yard touchdown pass, and with this score, the Tigers got the two-point conversion on a Larson to Reikofski pass. At the end of the first quarter, Osmond led 14-8. The squads traded scores in the second, with Larson running in a 29-yard touchdown, and the Tigers got the two-point conversion. Isaac Everitt got on the board with a five-yard touchdown, but the Cards didn't get the two points. Larson ran in a one-yard touchdown to put the Tigers up, but Hedstrom ran in the kickoff return for a 65-yard touchdown. Hedstrom hit Everitt for the two-point conversion to put the Cards trailing 22-28 at the half. The third quarter saw the Tigers and Cards continue matching score for score, with Buchanan running in a six-yard touchdown and a 16-yard touchdown with no extra points. Hedstrom countered with a two-yard touchdown run followed by a 32-yard touchdown pass from Hedstrom to Everitt, and Dannenbring picked up the two-point conversion to trail at the end of the third quarter, 40-38. Hedstrom ran in a seven-yard touchdown in the fourth and the conversion to put the Cards up for the first time in the game 46-40. The Tigers Larson hit Reikofski on a 19-yard touchdown pass, and the conversion failed to tie the game at 46. The Cards drove down the field for one last score on a one-yard touchdown run by Hedstrom to put the Cards up by six at 52-46. The Tigers tried an on side kick, but Kyle Pribil saved the day by securing the ball with time running out.
