REPLACEMENT

The City of O'Neill (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Municipal Well 92-1 Replacement

O'Neill, Nebraska - 2022

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the O'Neill city clerk's office located at 401 E Fremont Street, O'Neill, Nebraska 68763, until Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

(1) A new well to replace existing Well #92-1. New well to be designated Well #22-1. The city plans to incorporate most of the features of its existing Well #92-1 into the new Well #22-1 construction including existing electrical panels, variable frequency drive, controls, pump motor, discharge piping, etc. New construction to include new well casing, column, screen, setting of existing motor on new well column, removal of right angle gear drive, well house expansion, replacement of various discharge pipe components, etc. 

(2) Additionally, existing O'Neill city well #80-1 (#G-026136) is to be abandoned as part of this project bid.

A complete set of plans, specifications, contract documents and proposal form MUST be obtained from either: 1) www.questcdn.com for a fee of $15 (nonrefundable). There is no pre-bid conference for this project.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.  The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to Owner as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance.  

The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of sixty days after the bids are open.
