Cardinal Teams To Play At State Basketball Tournament

Cutting the net - Charley Mlnarik, a senior from St. Mary's, cuts the net after their district win at Albion on Friday, Feb. 25. The Lady Cards will play at the Nebraska State Tourney on Monday, March 7.

The St. Mary's Cardinal Basketball teams have a lot to celebrate this year as both the girls and boys teams have won their district games and will advance to the state tourney. This year's Nebraska State Basketball Tournament will be different. Due to the Nebraska Big 10 Wrestling Tournament this weekend, all boys and girls state games will be held next week starting on Monday, March 7 with D-2 girls starting on Monday and D-2 boys starting on Tuesday, March 8.
